About the Author

Nicholas Mancini grew up in the Apennine Mountains of Abruzzo and immigrated to America with his family in 1955, at age 14. He began to write at age 60 —after retiring from his professional service career—and tapped into the stories of his youth, experiences that profoundly impacted his life and now fuel the budding author’s manuscripts. He resides in Connecticut with his wife Sheila.
